EMAD KHALIL

Professor of Maritime Archaeology at the University of Alexandria. He is the director and founder of the Alexandria Centre for Maritime Archaeology and Underwater Cultural Heritage. UNESCO Full Member in Underwater Cultural Heritage, and UNESCO Scientific and Technical Advisory Body member for the 2001 convention. He is also a member and former president of the ICOMOS International Committee on the Underwater Cultural Heritage (ICUCH), and of the scientific committee of the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS).
